A Father's Love, A Daughter's Regret

About this drama

A daughter, blind to the truth and deceived by her own mother, grew up believing her father was a selfish and cruel man. So when he was dying of cancer, she met his plight with scorn, accusing him of lying about his illness. Her world remained small, focused only on celebrating her mother’s birthday and choosing gifts. Everything shifted when she suspected a body donor might be her father. A cold panic set in — could he really be gone? She launched a private inquiry. But while awaiting answers, her mother poisoned her mind again, now with tales of his infidelity. Enraged, the daughter became certain: he had shattered their family and stolen her chance at a happy childhood. He was, she decided, no father of hers. Then the DNA report arrived — confirmation of his death. Only then did regret crash down on her. And soon, the final truth emerged: her mother was a compulsive gambler. Her father had left not for another woman, but to shield his daughter from harm. Faced with the wreckage of her loyalty, she saw how deeply she had wronged the parent who truly loved her. And she vowed that her mother would not go unpunished.
