About this drama

Sophie, the eldest daughter of a prestigious family of chefs, was mistreated by her stepmother and cast out. Even her four children were thrown into the river by the stepmother. What she didn’t know was that those four kids were the children of Chester, the heir to a wealthy family. The kids were adopted by four powerful masters and, eight years later, became extraordinary figures! The eldest, Kai, is incredibly strong, destined to be the future leader of the Xuanwu Sect, and can even pilot a helicopter. The second, Ping, is the top disciple of the Jianbao Sect, an expert in antiques, and can wield ancient relics with magical strength. The third, Xin, inherited her grandfather’s culinary skills and is the world’s top dessert chef in secret. The youngest, An, is the head of the Divine Medical Sect, a genius healer who can combine medicine and poison. Years later, Sophie, having lost her memory, hides her identity and becomes a fried rice stall owner under the name "Fried Rice." The kids, led by Kai, eventually find their parents. When Sophie is bullied by thugs, Kai and Ping swoop in to save her, and the thugs beg for mercy. The kids decide that Kai and Xin should stay with Sophie while Ping goes to find Chester, hoping to bring the two together. Ping crashes Chester’s engagement party, and when Chester sees how much Ping resembles Sophie, he immediately recognizes him as his son and demands to know where Sophie is. Meanwhile, Sophie enters a culinary competition, and at the event, she and Chester finally reunite. With the help of their kids, they quickly get married. However, misunderstandings still linger between them, and the evil stepmother and stepsister continue to chase after Sophie, plotting her downfall.
