Destined to Be Yours

About this drama

The powerful CEO, Fu Shiyan, suffered from a strange illness that could only be cured by a woman with an untouched body. Yu Huan and Jiang Ying looked alike, and the vicious Yu Huan, in order to marry into a wealthy family, threatened the female lead, Jiang Ying, with her grandmother’s life, forcing her to act as her substitute and spend the night with the CEO. Eight months later, Jiang Ying gave birth to a pair of twins. She pleaded with the doctor not to tell Yu Huan that there was another child. Five years later, Jiang Ying was working in a restaurant, struggling to pay for her child’s tuition. In desperation, she agreed to be an escort for an event, but unexpectedly, she ran into Fu Shiyan at the banquet. Mistaking her for Yu Huan, he took her away, but their encounter was unpleasant. Jiang Ying was later hospitalized due to acute appendicitis. The CEO’s assistant saw her and, mistaking her for Yu Huan, informed Fu Shiyan. Upon checking Jiang Ying’s records, he began to suspect that it wasn’t Yu Huan who had been with him that night. He then discovered that the timeline of Jiang Ying giving birth matched perfectly with that event. Jiang Ying later moved into Fu Shiyan’s home to take care of the child, and the little boy, Xiao Luo, grew fond of her. Over time, Fu Shiyan became attracted to Jiang Ying’s personality. At Fu Shiyan and Yu Huan’s wedding, Yu Huan, pretending to be Jiang Ying, tried to bribe the hotel but was pushed into a swimming pool by a scheming woman and was declared dead. As a result, Jiang Ying took Yu Huan’s place and married Fu Shiyan. However, Yu Huan later woke up and found that she had lost her position as Mrs. Fu. She erupted in anger, which made Fu Shiyan finally realize that the woman he had been with that night was actually Jiang Ying. Originally, Fu Shiyan had agreed to marry Yu Huan because he believed she was the one who had been with him. But then, he confronted Yu Huan with evidence of her affair with his uncle, questioning the conspiracy behind it all. Eventually, all the mysteries were unraveled, and Jiang Ying proposed to Fu Shiyan on a vast lawn. Finally, the family of four was reunited in joy and happiness.
