Eternal Dao: Gods & Demons Reborn

About this drama

A millennium ago, as demonic hordes breached the Abyss to annihilate humanity, transcendent cultivator Lin Ye saved the realm by sealing the Abyss—then vanished pursuing the legendary Eternal Dao, a power to conquer life and death itself. Awakening a thousand years later, Lin Ye finds himself bound and bleeding in his own Supreme Sword Sect. Betrayed by Elder Xuanqing and Saintess Su Muxue who covet his demon-sealing artifact, they frame him for treason and activate a God-Slaying Array. Heartbroken, Lin Ye shatters the sacred artifact to heal his wounds, vows to destroy the sect within a month, and departs amidst terrified stares. Merging with his latent Eternal Dao physique, Lin Ye regains godlike power. He crushes the escaped Greed Nether Demon Lord into submission, while new demonic threats stir: the Chaos Demon Lord ravages the Southern Witch Clan, driving their leader Chi Yunyun to beg for his aid. En route, Lin Ye annihilates the demon lord’s avatar and saves millions—even as his former sect collapses under demonic assaults. Returning to the crumbling Supreme Sword Sect, Lin Ye exposes Xuanqing and Su Muxue’s demonic collusion, executes them, and rebuilds the sect as the Night Divine Order. Uniting witches, warriors, and even subdued demon lords, he uncovers the Chaos Reversal Demon Lord’s scheme: corrupting cultivators’ minds to forge a Blood Prison Dao Foundation. In the apocalyptic wasteland battle against this demigod foe, Lin Ye realizes true decay lies in human greed—not demons. Shattering ancient dogma, he merges with his nemesis to ascend as a new deity of balance. A century later, the Yin-Yang Divine Temple floats above clouds: Lin Ye purifies corruption as Creator God while his former enemy judges sinners as Sin-Devouring Demon God. Together, they forge an era where light and darkness sustain cosmic harmony.
