Fake Death Scheme, My Glorious Rebirth

About this drama

Shen Qian and her husband Zhou Mingchen built their business from scratch. She worked tirelessly to take care of the family. On the night of their daughter’s birthday, while pregnant with their second child, she was struck by devastating news — her husband had died in a car crash. Zhou Mingchen’s parents invited a fortune-teller named Master Zhang to stage a fraudulent ritual. They claimed his remains were buried in the mountains, seized all the family’s bank cards, gold and silver jewelry, then headed to Jiangcheng to reunite with their supposedly deceased son. The truth was that Zhou Mingchen had long been cheating with Wen Xiuxiu. To run away with his mistress, seize all family assets and evade massive business debts, he conspired with his parents to pull off an outrageous fake-death scheme. He abandoned Shen Qian and their daughter like disposable trash. Shen Qian suddenly gains the ability to see floating comment barrages, through which she instantly sees through the whole family’s plot. She snaps out of her grief and embarks on a carefully calculated revenge plan. First, she reports a burglary to the police and freezes all her husband’s bank accounts, shattering his dream of buying a luxury mansion for his mistress. Next, she guides loan sharks to Zhou Mingchen’s hideout in Jiangcheng, destroying his lavish new life overnight. After that, she lures the man and his family with the promise of tens of millions in insurance compensation, tempting them to forge an official death certificate and walk straight into her trap.
