Famine Years: The Lucky Star Feeds the Whole Family

About this drama

In a chaotic era ravaged by widespread famine and total crop failure, Su Nuobao is reborn and luckily bound to a survival system, escaping her tragic fate from her past life—starving and freezing to death after her cruel grandmother seized all her family's food. Her grandmother favors the second branch of the family. To seize Su Da's farmland and grain, she repeatedly leads people to ransack their home and steal food, even inciting her son to sneak into the house at night and steal the land deeds. With ointments and grain exchanged from the system, Su Nuobao protects her parents. She publicly exposes her grandmother's mistreatment of the eldest son and her plot to sell family members for food. With neighbors bearing witness, she cuts all ties with the harsh Su clan. The three of them abandon their hometown and flee to survive. Their journey is fraught with danger, filled with starving refugees and rampant bandits. Out of kindness, Su Nuobao saves an elderly dying physician, and later rescues Shen Qingyao, a noble young lady betrayed by traitors amid a bandit raid. The two swear an oath of life and death.
