About this drama

Jiang Xun is a‑22‑year‑old rural fish‑pond owner. Having lost his parents at an early age, he scrapes by relying on a few run‑down fish‑ponds. Local tyrant Wang Ba lends him 50,000 yuan with high‑interest loans. Within half a year, the debt balloons to 100,000 yuan. Wang Ba gives him three days to pay up, or he will seize the pond and demolish his house. Desperate, Jiang Xun goes fishing late at night in his pond hoping to scrape together some money. Unexpectedly, he reels in an ancient‑robed young girl with dragon horns — Ao Xue, the Ninth Princess of the East Sea Dragon Palace. Jiang Xun’s ancestral bamboo fishing rod can open a passage to the Dragon Palace. Any creature fished out from the Dragon Palace shrinks into ordinary mortal‑world seafood once it surfaces.
