From Ex-Wife to Powerhouse

About this drama

Eliana Kallis was born into a powerful Greek-American shipping dynasty. Her grandmother, Daphne Kallis, controls Kallis Ocean Group, a global empire of vessels, ports, trade routes, and international freight power. Ten years ago, Eliana gave up her inheritance for love, married the once-broke Liam Hart, and quietly helped him build Hartway Global Logistics from nothing. But after a decade of marriage, Liam and his mother, Linda, no longer remember where his success truly came from. To them, Eliana is only a plain, backgroundless wife with no money, no family support, and no value in the upper-class world Liam desperately wants to enter. When Ava Monroe appears, wrapped in a carefully manufactured image of old money, charity galas, couture gowns, private yachts, and investor connections, Liam believes he has finally found the woman who can open the doors Eliana never could. He cheats. He hides assets. He prepares a divorce settlement meant to push Eliana out with almost nothing. He even plans to transfer Hartway shares to Ava, the woman he thinks will buy him a seat in high society. Then Rosa, the longtime housekeeper, leaves Eliana one final warning before retirement. Behind Eliana and Liam’s wedding portrait, Eliana discovers the evidence of his betrayal. Instead of breaking down, she calls her best friend and attorney, Maya Brooks, and returns to the world she once walked away from: Kallis Ocean Group.
