God of Wealth Guards His Family

About this drama

Lu Lin’an, the reincarnation of one of the Five Gods of Wealth from the Heavenly Court, roamed freely in the Mysterious Firmament Domain for six years. Following his ancestor’s command to descend to the mortal world and save his father, he arrives on Earth. At this time, his birth father Lu Mingyuan is merely a struggling delivery rider. He lives in poverty and accidentally stumbles into a bizarre incident. While delivering food, he enters the "19th Floor Illusion" controlled by evil spirits. A female ghost possessing Zhou Yuanyuan nearly drains all his vital energy. At the critical moment, Lu Lin’an appears. He freezes the evil spirit with just one finger and exposes the truth of the illusory building. He snaps Zhou Yuanyuan’s fruit knife bare-handed, resolves the compensation dispute by tossing stacks of cash, and takes the illusory mansion as his own. Thus begins his journey guarding his parents in the mortal world. Lu Lin’an’s arrival completely changes Lu Mingyuan’s fate. He casually raises the credit limit on Lu Mingyuan’s card to 100 million yuan. When Han Mujun is harassed by senior executives at work, he secretly injects tens of billions into her account, helping her secure a major bidding project for the Mu Group. Han Mujun is Lu Lin’an’s birth mother. She met Lu Mingyuan six years ago and gave birth to Lu Lin’an, yet they were separated due to family pressure and unexpected misfortune. After their reunion, the three form an improvised family. Using the power of the God of Wealth, Lu Lin’an clears all obstacles for his parents while confronting wave after wave of crises. Turbulence simmers within the Han Family. Second Uncle Han Zhicheng and cousin Han Yaoting covet control of the group. They team up with Han’s matriarch to ostracize Han Mujun and even blame her for Old Master Han’s critical illness. Lu Lin’an steps forward and reveals that the Han Family’s treasured Money-Attracting Golden Toad is actually a venomous toad that devours human lifespan. Using a bloodletting ritual to ward off malevolence, he revives the elderly patriarch. He casts spells to make all those who bullied Han Mujun suffer the consequences of their own actions, humiliating the scheming Han clansmen.
