Hire A Hero, Steal His Heart

About this drama

Jillian had pleaded with the crime boss known as the Night Owl to stage a mock kidnapping at her wedding ceremony scheduled in three days. Ever since her mother had fallen into a coma and become unresponsive, Jillian felt neglected by her father and stepmother, who showed favouritism toward her sister, Maren. With the Holt family's financial situation deteriorating, Jillian had become a pawn in their desperate plot to seduce and marry Rhys, the rumored heir of a powerful family believed to need a marriage for good fortune and to potentially save his life. Although Jillian outwardly agreed to the marriage under pressure, she secretly reached out to the Night Owl—the only one capable of standing up to Rhys—to stage a wedding crash. Little did she know that Rhys and the Night Owl were the same person. Faced with Jillian's bold plan to leave him after the wedding, Rhys decided to enact his "revenge." He agreed to the mock kidnapping on the condition that Jillian would serve as his close attendant for a week. His goal was to challenge her to give up and willingly marry him, hoping she would recognise his worth. Initially, Rhys aimed to make Jillian fall for him by winning her over with his charisma and proving her wrong. Through his strategy, he unexpectedly and completely fell in love with Jillian without even realising it.
