His Fake White Moonlight

About this drama

This is a story of misplaced marriage and self‑redemption spanning ten years for Shen Shuyu. Born into the top‑tier wealthy Shen family, Shen Shuyu is Changfeng, an internationally celebrated prodigy painter who rose to fame at a young age. Out of deep love, she conceals her status and brilliance to marry He Yuchuan, a man from a poor background. She gives everything she has, leveraging her connections and savings to help He Yuchuan build his business from scratch and rise as an elite in the capital circle. She puts down her paintbrushes to tend to household chores and devotes herself to raising their dragon‑and‑phoenix twin children, hoping to melt her husband’s cold heart over ten years. Yet their marriage is filled with misunderstandings and indifference from the very start. Haunted by childhood trauma, He Yuchuan misidentifies his white‑moonlight savior. He believes Shen Shuyu took advantage of his vulnerability and treats her with coldness and distance. When his childhood friend Cheng Xing returns home, he grows entangled with her and allows Cheng Xing to meddle in his family life. Manipulated by He Yuchuan’s mother and Cheng Xing, the twin children whom Shen Shuyu cherishes dearly grow resentful and disdainful toward their birth mother. They regard the gentle‑seeming Cheng Xing as their real mother, lashing out at Shen Shuyu with harsh words and even physical violence.
