Kung‑Fu Soccer: King of the Green Pitch

About this drama

Eighteen‑year‑old Su Yang is a prodigy of the Dragon Nation football scene. Having won numerous awards in international competitions from an early age, he is selected for the national team at eighteen. However, in his debut match against the Island Nation team, he falls victim to vicious scheming by team captain Huang Bin, who is consumed by jealousy. Su Yang is secretly drugged, leaving him crippled by diarrhea and weak legs, which leads his team to a crushing defeat. Su Yang is publicly jeered by spectators and branded a “weak‑knee coward”. Not content with ruining his reputation, Huang Bin hires thugs to break Su Yang’s legs late one night. On the brink of death, Su Yang awakens the Kung‑Fu Soccer System and gains the Mighty Diamond Leg. His injuries heal instantly, granting him superhuman leg strength. In the rematch versus the Island Nation, the team gets crushed 10‑0 and the game seems utterly lost. Brought on as a last‑ditch substitute, Su Yang scores eleven goals in the seven‑minute stoppage time using system‑unlocked skills such as Phantom Shadow Step. He pulls off a sensational comeback to eliminate the Island Nation side, completely clearing his name, and takes Huang Bin’s place as team captain. Bitter over his defeat, Huang Bin keeps hiring assailants to hurt Su Yang. Su Yang foils his plots and secures hard evidence proving Huang Bin’s drug‑tampering and hit‑man crimes.
