My Girlfriend is the Demon King

About this drama

"In a cramped corner of the city's slums lives Lucas Stern—an ordinary, overworked laborer drowning in the monotony of modern life. By day, he slaves away in an office; by night, he delivers packages, his existence as dull as the gray concrete beneath his feet. But fate has other plans. One evening, while riding his motorcycle through a desolate graveyard, a streak of demonic fire lights up the sky. The patrolling demon general recognizes him instantly—Lucas is the destined lover Demon Queen Evelyn Nightshade has waited a century for. Evelyn Nightshade, the coldly beautiful and formidable ruler of the demon realm, is a force of nature in battle but utterly clueless in love. Overjoyed at finally meeting her fated partner, she employs every tactic imaginable to win his affection—from terrorizing him with supernatural horrors to shamelessly flaunting her charms, even resorting to pleading. Yet her efforts backfire spectacularly, leading to a series of hilarious mishaps. At first, Lucas is terrified. How could a nobody like him be the obsession of a demon queen? But as he spends more time with her, he discovers her unexpected innocence and genuine longing for love. Slowly, his fear melts into reluctant acceptance—until outside forces intervene. Evelyn's parents are furious she’s chosen a powerless human; exorcists mobilize to eliminate her; and mysterious assassins nearly claim her life. Faced with these threats, Lucas sheds his meekness, stepping up to protect the woman who once terrified him. Through battles and betrayals, he grows into the hero she always believed him to be. "
