New Year’s Eve: The Billionaire’s Revenge

About this drama

"Billionaire CEO Song Qingning returns to her rural hometown on New Year's Eve, eager to surprise her family with luxury gifts - only to be met with betrayal. Her sister Song Qingxue has stolen her property deeds and car keys, while Qingning is branded ""useless trash"" by her family. In a final act of defiance against a forced marriage, her father strikes her dead. With her last breath, she hears Qingxue whisper: ""Everything of yours is mine now."" Reborn at the moment she steps through her family's door, Qingning watches the red-ribboned sports car meant for her brother - and orders it smashed to pieces. The feast becomes her battlefield. Though Qingxue flaunts fake ""million-dollar gifts,"" Qingning notices something sinister: her sister possesses an uncanny ability to drain her accounts, tied mysteriously to their ancestral home. In a masterstroke, Qingning traps Qingxue by promising gold bars to the entire village. At the jewelry store, as Qingxue's stolen funds run dry, Qingning's final move unfolds - she liquidates her company, evaporating the village's promised investments. When chaos erupt, the true owner of the store (and Qingning's ally) Shen Yue arrives, exposing Qingxue's dark secret: she'd been using Qingning's hair in occult rituals to steal her fortune. As New Year fireworks light the sky, Qingning walks away with only her kind sister-in-law, leaving her greedy family to face legal consequences. The phoenix rises from betrayal's ashes, her wings unshackled at last. "
