Perfect Wife's Struggle

About this drama

Jenny discovered in her past life that Hail was engaged in an illicit affair. Hail begged her to keep it a secret, fearing that her reputation-conscious father-in-law would beat her to death. Out of compassion, Jenny agreed to help. However, when Hail’s husband, Yang Dongxu, found another man’s underwear at home, Hail framed Jenny instead. In the ensuing argument, Jenny accidentally fell down the stairs. Her husband, driven by greed for her insurance money, along with Hail and the other man, stood by and let her die in regret. Upon opening her eyes again, Jenny found herself reborn on the very day she discovered her mother-in-law’s secret. Determined to change her fate, she installed surveillance cameras in the house, replaced the lubricant with super glue, and then went out to buy groceries. Through the surveillance feed, she saw Hail inviting a man named Wu De into the house. Jenny quickly called her father-in-law and husband, claiming that Hail had fainted. In a panic, the two rushed home. Meanwhile, as the adulterous couple heard them returning, Wu De tried to flee—only to find himself stuck to Hail. They frantically searched for tools to free themselves. Just as the door swung open, they saw Hail standing there fully dressed—Wu De was nowhere to be seen.
