Secret Him

About this drama

Serena and Aaron had been in love for years and were about to get married. But on their wedding night, Aaron’s younger brother, Joel, killed him and took his place, pretending to be Aaron and living with Serena. Because they'd been together so long, Serena soon noticed strange changes in her “husband’s” behavior. Meanwhile, Joel did everything he could to cover up Aaron’s death. He told everyone Joel had gone abroad for work and hid Aaron’s body in a hospital morgue. But Jerry, Serena’s brother, discovered the truth. To silence him, Joel murdered Jerry too. While pregnant, Serena went to the hospital for a checkup and overheard some nurses talking, which raised her suspicions. She went to the morgue alone and almost found Aaron’s body. Still feeling something was wrong, Serena decided to uncover the truth. She followed Joel and told people around her about his odd behavior, but no one believed her. Everyone just told her to stop overthinking and cherish her husband. Feeling completely alone, Serena chose to take revenge herself. She casually brought up Aaron and Jerry in front of Joel and mentioned seeing Joel on the street and dreaming about him saying he was inside her womb. Already guilty and paranoid, Joel started to break down mentally under Serena’s subtle pressure and nearly confessed everything. Joel began to believe that Serena’s baby was actually Aaron reincarnated. Driven by fear, he planned to kill the child. But Serena set a trap. At the baby’s one-month celebration, she pushed Joel to a mental breakdown in front of everyone. His parents, shocked and disappointed, came to confront him—only to witness him completely lose control and try to harm his wife and child. At that moment, Joel finally confessed everything. His parents were stunned. Serena then revealed her entire plan, and Joel, overwhelmed, lost his mind completely.
