Seven Years Wasted, I Married the Empress

About this drama

Lin Shu, the eldest young master of the Lin Clan in Shangjing and sole heir to Hengyuan Group, concealed his wealthy family background and turned down the chance to study abroad to protect Su Wan and Xu Yun, his close friends from university. He co-founded a business with the two in Jiangcheng. Drawing on his personal connections, he secretly backed their company. He even secured a multi-billion-yuan partnership with Hengyuan Group, quietly sustaining their shared seven-year dream. Su Wan and Xu Yun had long been in love with Lin Shu and agreed to compete for his heart fairly. The three once shared an unbreakable bond built on mutual trust. Yet He Jing, an apprentice Lin Shu had painstakingly mentored, was scheming and malicious. He coveted Lin Shu’s career, his achievements, as well as the affection of Su Wan and Xu Yun. On their way to sign the contract with Hengyuan Group, He Jing suddenly grabbed the steering wheel and unbuckled Lin Shu’s seatbelt, deliberately causing a car crash. He left the severely injured, unconscious Lin Shu in the wreckage and went alone to sign the deal under Lin Shu’s identity, winning the trust of Su Wan and Xu Yun. Blinded by He Jing’s false facade, the two women failed to rush to Lin Shu’s rescue. Instead, they hailed He Jing as a hero and lavished care on him.
