About this drama

When Jared Preston struggles to pay his grandmother's medical bills, Lucia Joyner steps in and wins him over by unconventional means. She believes he will open up to her in time—until she unexpectedly realizes that she is merely a villainess in a novel, doomed to a tragic fate. To survive, she diverges from the original plot and sets her own plan of redemption in motion.
