The Billionaire Ex-Wife

About this drama

Emily, a 32-year-old housewife, catches her husband Ryan cheating with her best friend Chloe on their seventh anniversary. Humiliated, she is forced to sign a divorce settlement leaving her with nothing. That night, top attorney Ethan reveals that her late biological father, Daniel, founded the tech giant Vantage Group. As sole heir, Emily inherits 51% voting rights and an $8.4 billion trust. She becomes interim chairwoman and pushes to acquire Stratton, the ad-tech company where Ryan works. Its core algorithm was designed by Emily herself—before she dropped out of Stanford to support Ryan’s startup—only for him to steal the credit. She turns her ex into her subordinate and reclaims her intellectual property. She and Ethan grow closer. She discovers Vice Chairman Marcus embezzled assets, colluded with Ryan, and killed her father. Marcus and Chloe kidnap Emily’s mother and launch a smear campaign. With Ethan by her side, Emily exposes every conspiracy and brings the villains to justice. She becomes Vantage’s CEO, launches a fund for women whose careers were interrupted by family, and begins an equal relationship with Ethan. Ryan loses everything and repents behind bars.
