About this drama

Seven-year-old Pebble has never known a real home. Every day, the little girl scrounges for empty bottles and discarded food on the streets just to keep her sick, amnesiac mother alive. When her mother suddenly collapses and needs a sixty-thousand-dollar life-saving surgery, Pebble is pushed to the brink of despair. Soaked in the freezing rain, the desperate child kneels on the street with a cardboard sign, begging strangers for help. With nowhere else to turn, she offers her mother's only possession—an old, worn engagement ring—to a cold and ruthless billionaire, Adrian Whitmore, pleading for his mercy. Disgusted, Adrian accuses the crying child of being a street scammer and a thief, completely unaware that the little girl shivering at his feet is his own biological daughter. He is even more unaware that the dying woman in the hospital is the fiancée he has been mourning for seven years. Will the truth come to light before Pebble loses her mother forever, or will Adrian's coldness destroy his only family?
