The Billionaire’s Five-Year Hiding Game

About this drama

Qin Mu is the hidden heir of the Qin Family and the world’s richest man. To fulfill his grandfather’s promise to repay an old kindness, he conceals his wealth and lives as an ordinary office worker. For five years, he devotes himself to his girlfriend, internet celebrity Liu Ruyan, obeying every wish of hers, waiting for the unlocking of a 50-billion fund account of his clan. Yet merely 30 hours before the fund becomes accessible, Liu Ruyan chooses a wealthy overseas returnee Liu Yuyan for money. They are caught checking into a hotel. When Qin Mu comes to the police station to bail them out, Liu Ruyan shifts the blame onto him, while Liu Yuyan mocks him relentlessly. His five years of wholehearted devotion are trampled without mercy. Once the fund is unlocked, Qin Mu’s heart turns cold completely. He resumes his identity as the richest man. His steward Afu presents him with an elite black card, and Qin Mu embarks on a powerful counterattack. At the office, he slams the keyboard to humiliate colleagues who bullied him and announces his resignation publicly, cutting ties with Liu Ruyan. Later, Qin Mu runs into Lin Youwei, his university classmate who has secretly loved him for years. To celebrate her birthday, he spends tens of billions to buy a planet and names it “Youwei Star”. He exposes all lies during a livestream, stunning the whole audience. Liu Yuyan, Liu Ruyan and others repeatedly provoke and insult Qin Mu, only to be crushed by his overwhelming wealth and power. He defeats them in a multi-million live gift PK, displays tens of billions of cash in public, acquires Liu Ruyan’s company, and punishes the arrogant rich heir Li Hao. After learning Qin Mu’s real identity, Liu Ruyan is filled with regret. She tries to seduce him late at night to reconcile, yet Qin Mu coldly exposes her money-worshipping nature and drives her away for good.
