The Burning Widow

About this drama

Fifteen years ago, Eva, the ace agent, grew weary of a life filled with violence and bloodshed. She chose to retire and run a modest street-side barbecue stand. For over a decade, she lived a quiet and uneventful life with her daughter, Sophie. Fifteen years later, Sophie became the target of bullying at school. When Eva learned of this, she went to the school to seek justice for her daughter. However, this act of defiance earned the ire of Jeff, the spoiled heir of the Douglas Group. He abducted Sophie and subjected her to mistreatment at his home. Sophie managed to escape but accidentally stumbled upon Nick killing someone. To eliminate any witnesses, Nick decided to silence her permanently. He deliberately ran her down with his car. This horrifying scene unfolded just as Eva arrived to rescue her daughter. After fifteen years of living in quiet retirement, Eva was overcome with rage and was determined to make those responsible pay.
