The Divine-Eyed Healer

About this drama

Xu Ming, a young man from a humble background, worked at an antique shop. He suffered a stomach hemorrhage from overwork while saving up for a betrothal gift, only to be betrayed by his fiancée Pan Ting and Song Zhe, the son of Hangzhou’s wealthiest man. The two squandered the 500,000-yuan betrothal money, ransacked the shop, and injured Xu Ming with a blue-and-white porcelain vase. As his blood dripped onto an ancestral ring, the legendary Golden-Hooped Rod was awakened by chance. Xu Ming gained three extraordinary abilities: fiery golden eyes, divine healing arts, and peerless combat skills—completely turning his life around. To save his critically ill mother, he used his divine eyes to spot counterfeits. He smashed an ordinary pottery jar at a street stall and uncovered the Nine-Dragon White Jade Pearl, worth 300 million yuan, which he sold to Qin Shan, a business magnate across eight provinces, for 100 million yuan. He immediately detected a life-threatening blood clot in Qin Shan’s heart and cured him with divine healing when the man fainted. Overnight, he became famous and was gifted a Dragon-Ruling Thumb Ring along with vast connections. Back at the hospital, Xu Ming exposed Pan Ting’s plot to trick his mother into jumping off a building for an insurance payout, and healed his mother’s chronic illness with his divine arts. When Song Zhe colluded with underground forces to extort and harass him, Nie Anli stepped forward, publicly confessed her love for Xu Ming, and stood firmly by his side. Xu Ming displayed his formidable strength and showed off the Dragon-Ruling Thumb Ring, intimidating Long Ye, the underground king of Hangzhou. All the wrongdoers bowed their heads and admitted their faults. Later, at an auction, his divine eyes helped him acquire a rare Black Bird Jade Pendant at a bargain price. He spent over 100 billion yuan to bid for an Imperial Jade Pendant for Nie Anli and uncovered the evil schemes of a charlatan calling himself a divine doctor. Thanks to his talent for appraising treasures and his miraculous medical skills, he won the full support of Gao Shanyue, the richest man in the capital, gaining control over resources worth hundreds of billions. In the end, Xu Ming accompanied Nie Anli to her family’s birthday banquet. He exposed Nie Anjie’s family for attempting to murder the elderly matriarch with cursed funeral money and rooted out the corrupt members of the clan with overwhelming strength. He helped Nie Anli secure her position as the clan leader. From a poor nobody, Xu Ming rose to become an all-powerful, divinely gifted healer with god-like medical skills. He married his beloved, while all the villains were brought to justice, writing an extraordinary tale of urban counterattack.
