The Emperor's Lost Daughter

About this drama

Serenity, a maid in the manor, had been diagnosed with a two-month pregnancy, and a severe punishment awaited her due to the strict laws of the era. Two months earlier, she had saved the war hero Brady, although neither had seen the other's true face; only a handkerchief had been left behind. Following the Empress Dowager's decree, Brady entered the manor but was betrayed by his cousin Zachary, who drugged him with a seductive poison. Mistakenly, Brady spent the night with Serenity, only to discard her coldly afterward. Fearing for Brady's ill-fated reputation, Serenity concealed her pregnancy. Meanwhile, Zachary, unable to fulfill his own desires, conspired with Adeline to have her drowned. At a critical moment, Brady recognized the handkerchief and realized that Serenity was his savior. He joined forces with the Empress Dowager to rescue her. However, it turned out that Serenity was the rightful daughter of King Chase, while a jealous impostor had set a trap. The Emperor revoked her noble status, leading to a public confrontation between Serenity and the impostor. Shocked by the revelation, Serenity went into premature labor and suffered a life-threatening hemorrhage. Brady stayed by her side, pleading for her recovery with heartfelt devotion. Eventually, she gave birth to twins, and the war hero abandoned his armor, seeking only to protect the mother and their children for the rest of his life.
