The Face Thief’s Reckoning

About this drama

Lu Zhixu and Song Yanyue were once the golden couple of the entertainment industry—until his childhood friend Lin Yue returned. Consumed by jealousy over Yanyue’s beauty and obsessed with Zhixu, Lin Yue blackmailed him using her family’s ""blood debt"" as leverage. Under duress, Zhixu performed a dark ritual, transferring Yanyue’s face to Lin Yue. Stripped of her looks, Yanyue became a social outcast. Meanwhile, Lin Yue—now wearing Yanyue’s stolen face—manipulated Zhixu and framed Yanyue for crimes she didn’t commit. When Yanyue was presumed dead after an ""accident,"" Zhixu drowned in guilt. Three years later, Yanyue resurfaces as Shi Qing—her face altered, her heart icy. She methodically traps Lin Yue, forcing her to confess the face-stealing conspiracy. As karma strikes, Lin Yue’s stolen visage rots away, consumed by the very curse she orchestrated. Zhixu, recognizing Shi Qing as Yanyue, begs for forgiveness. But revenge comes at a cost: Yanyue survives his desperate, life-for-life sacrifice, only to lose her capacity for love or hate. The final twist? Her emotionless gaze is his true punishment—a hollow victory where no one wins.
