The First Female Top Scholar of Daxia

About this drama

Shen Keyue, a 22‑year‑old professor from a top university and winner of multiple major scientific awards, loses her life in a deliberately caused laboratory explosion. Her soul travels to the Daxia Dynasty and takes over the body of a frail ten‑year‑old girl, who is about to be sold by her father to a stout woman as a child‑bride. The original girl suffered constant abuse and exploitation from her father Shen Yuan. Deprived of food and warm clothes, she was treated as a worthless burden. After inheriting the girl’s memories, Shen Keyue draws on her bold, unyielding personality from her past life. She bites the slave trader and narrowly escapes. Wandering the streets, she witnesses Zhao Feijiang, son of the provincial governor, bullying helpless children together with a gang of spoiled nobles. She steps in without hesitation, overpowering the group single‑handedly and forcing Zhao Feijiang to pay compensation to the victims. This scene is witnessed by Liu Qing, the governor’s wife. Liu Qing has long been troubled by her son’s unruly behavior. Ten tutors hired before have either gone mad or resigned. Impressed that the young girl can discipline Zhao Feijiang so effectively, she offers Shen Keyue a well‑paid position as her son’s private tutor, with board and lodging included. Eager to save money for the imperial examination, Shen Keyue accepts the offer. Inside the governor’s mansion, she rejects old‑fashioned rigid teaching methods. She adopts modern military‑style training, reward‑and‑punishment rules and fun‑oriented classes to reform Zhao Feijiang and his reckless friends. The once‑lawless youngsters become well‑behaved, yet her methods arouse resentment from Grandmother Zhou, who dotes on her grandson, and the malicious rival Li Ying’er.
