The Fox Fairy

About this drama

Today, for Gu An, is undoubtedly the most joyful and significant day of his life. All the villagers gathered together to celebrate his wedding, offering their congratulations. Everyone was praising Gu An's good fortune because he married the village beauty, a girl that even the bravest young men in the village had been unable to pursue for years. However, no one knew that this beautiful village belle was actually hiding an astonishing secret — she was a nine-tailed fox with a thousand years of cultivation. As night fell, Gu An and his bride finally welcomed their wedding night. At this moment that should have been filled with romance and sweetness, something unexpected happened. In a moment of carelessness, the nine-tailed fox accidentally revealed her tail. This was her fatal weakness; once discovered by humans, she would no longer be able to cast her enchantments. However, Gu An did not realize this; he mistook it for a plush toy, excitedly grabbing it and unintentionally disrupting the nine-tailed fox's plan. Due to Gu An's unintentional action, the nine-tailed fox lost her ability to cast enchantments, plunging her into an unprecedented predicament. Gu An, on the other hand, unknowingly gained the upper hand. The next morning, when Gu An woke up from his sleep, he found his wife was no longer by his side, leaving only a brief message before disappearing like the wind. Gu An yawned, preparing to start a new day. But just at that moment, he felt a sudden gust of wind sweeping through the entire room, even the tightly closed windows were violently blown open. He rubbed his eyes, trying to figure out what had happened. However, when he opened his eyes, he was astonished to find that he could see scenes from a thousand miles away. It turned out that in that accidental contact with the nine-tailed fox, he had unknowingly gained her divine power. All of this was both shocking and unbelievable to Gu An. His life would no longer be ordinary; how he would adapt to this sudden power and how he would face the loss of his wife was full of unknowns. And this once ordinary village, due to the existence of the nine-tailed fox and the divine power gained by Gu An, was destined to undergo earth-shattering changes.
