The Last Non-Revivalist

About this drama

In a world scorched by extreme heat and overrun by zombies, college student Su Wan is the only one in her dorm without ""reborn"" memories. When her roommates—Lin You, Jiang Lingyue, and Xia He—start stockpiling supplies and renting a safe house with absolute certainty of the coming apocalypse, Su Wan's reality fractures. They're convinced zombies will emerge on New Year's Day, determined to rewrite their previous collective demise. But as doomsday approaches, disturbing patterns emerge: the outbreaks are too precise, the heat too unnatural. After encountering Shen Yue, a scientist's daughter with classified knowledge, they learn the catastrophe stems from a failed climate intervention experiment. Their region is trapped in a ""temporal fold""—a death loop perpetuated by the cult-like ""Purification Sect,"" which views this as Earth's rebirth ritual. To break the cycle before the Red Moon rises, the group must secure two keys: microbial inhibitors and the ""Empathic Resonator"" blueprint. From their fortified apartment to flooded ruins, from a doomed rescue ship to an island's hidden cave, Su Wan transforms from a confused follower to the team's moral compass. But the final revelation shakes her: as the only ""non-reborn,"" her unique consciousness may hold the key to unraveling the loop—if she's willing to pay the ultimate price."
