About this drama

Li Yong, the owner of a health products store, originally sold Indian ""Miracle Oil."" However, after pleas from patients like Zhang Qingqing, he began smuggling generic drugs from India, selling them at low prices to lung cancer patients who could not afford the branded medications. Li Yong collaborated with Alamihan, the leader of an Indian gang, to ensure a steady supply of the drugs. But when Zhang Qingqing and others discovered that Li Yong was profiting from the price difference, they joined forces with other patients to betray him, even reporting him for smuggling. Li Yong was arrested, but the patients collectively protested, forcing the original drug company to drop the charges. He continued selling the generic drugs, even lowering the price to 500 yuan per bottle, ultimately crushing the market for the branded medications. Chen Zhiyan, the CEO of the original drug company, was forced to compromise, agreeing to lower the price and include the drug in the medical insurance system. Representing the patients, Li Yong participated in the negotiations and ultimately facilitated the rationalization of drug pricing.
