About this drama

Qiao Yue and Lin Jingming had been married for three blissful years, deeply in love—until the day heavily pregnant Qiao Yue spotted her husband walking intimately with a stunning woman during a routine prenatal checkup. A nearby nurse, noticing Qiao Yue’s confusion, kindly explained: ""That’s Lin Jingming’s wife of five years, Su Yao. They’re the picture-perfect couple."" Shocked, Qiao Yue insisted she was Lin Jingming’s lawful wife. As the pair left, she hailed a taxi and followed them—only to discover that Lin Jingming, who lived with her in their modest apartment, also owned a luxury villa with Su Yao. When Qiao Yue confronted them at the gated estate, wealthy neighbors mistook her for the mistress, hurling insults while praising Lin and Su’s ""equal social status."" Amid the scuffle, Qiao Yue collapsed. Lin Jingming rushed to her side, feigning concern, while Su Yao watched coldly. Lin later claimed Su Yao was merely a ""business partner."" Qiao Yue believed him—until Su Yao arrived at her home alone, declaring herself the true wife. Their argument turned physical, and Qiao Yue suffered a miscarriage. Devastated by Lin’s betrayal, she uncovered the truth: both women held valid marriage certificates. In a final act of vengeance, Qiao Yue prosecuted Lin Jingming for bigamy. The court sentenced him to prison, exposing his scheme to maintain two wives—one for love, the other for profit.
