The Years I Lost You

About this drama

Stella, once the Imperial Capital’s Chief Judicial Magistrate, was framed by a meticulously plotted conspiracy. She was branded a traitor to the Chamber of Commerce and blamed for the death of the Lord Henry’s parents. Tormented by despair and hatred, Henry, who had once loved her deeply, turned dark‑hearted. He wielded his authority to force‑marry Stella and subjected her to unspeakable retribution: compelling her to kneel and kowtow, piercing her body with poisoned needles, and even sending her to the Shadow Monastery to undergo the “Soul Purification Ritual”, a procedure that stripped away memories and emotions. Battered to the brink, Stella lost all recollection of love and hate. She signed the contract of annulment and vanished without a trace. Shortly after her departure, Henry uncovered the full truth: the entire scheme had been orchestrated by his fiancée Vivian and her family. Overwhelmed by remorse, Henry slew his enemies at their wedding ceremony, then embarked on a frantic quest to find Stella and atone for his sins. When he finally tracked her down in a foreign land, she had built a brand‑new life for herself, guarded by a gentle knight. Her clear, unclouded eyes held no trace of him whatsoever. Could a shattered mirror ever be mended? To his belated devotion, she gave her answer with a hand‑carved wooden ring.
