Tidal Flat Romance

About this drama

Zhang Haisheng, a modern CEO, has a rare allergy—to women. After being set up by his scheming secretary and mobbed by a group of women, he falls into an allergic coma. When he wakes up, he's in a 1980s fishing village, trapped in the body of a wife-beating, cheat-having village scum. His wife wants a divorce. His daughter is terrified of him. His mother and brother bleed him dry. Everyone despises him. But this time, he chooses to change. Just as his wife files for divorce, he binds a tidal flat harvesting system. The more his wife and daughter trust him, the rarer the seafood he can catch. From a clueless novice, he becomes a master forager—hauling in abalone, sea cucumber, and king crab, building wealth from the mudflats. He cuts ties with his mistress, stands up to his greedy family, and protects his wife and daughter with everything he has. Then disaster strikes. His daughter is abducted, critically injured, and diagnosed with leukemia. To raise the money for her treatment, he ventures onto a deadly snake island—and returns with a priceless conch pearl. His jealous brother frames him with protected seashells, nearly sending him to prison. His wife travels across the country to save him. Their bond, once broken, grows stronger than ever. With his system and his wits, Zhang Haisheng builds a seafood empire, launches a pearl skincare line, and exposes his rivals' schemes at a trade fair. He rises from a despised scoundrel to a successful businessman. In the end, the villains go to jail. His daughter recovers. His wife stands by his side. The man once hated by everyone becomes a devoted husband, a loving father, and a true winner in life.
