Blessings on Zhaozhao

Acerca de este microdrama

In the Great Xia Dynasty, the Shen family de Haishi welcomed twin babies. A Taoist priest declared one a lucky star, the other a calamity. The lucky one would become a top scholar in eighteen years. The grandmother, favoring boys, decided the elder son was the lucky star and tried to kill the baby girl. A maid, Aunt Li, saved her. The girl, Shen Zhaozhao, grew up as a servant in her own family home. Six years later, both twins made three wishes. Miraculously, the Shen family became the richest in Haishi. Convinced the brother was the source of fortune, the family treated Zhaozhao even worse. Then the top scholar plaque arrived—and everyone was shocked. The ""calamity"" Zhaozhao had passed the imperial exam. The grandmother accused her of stealing her brother's glory through witchcraft. Zhaozhao was searching for Aunt Li's three long-lost children to fund the old maid's cancer treatment. The brother, Shen Yaozu, came to the hospital to mock her. But he was stunned: the three children, once thought disabled, had grown into an international superstar, a war hero, and the chairman of the Global Commerce Alliance. Shen Yaozu spotted a jade pendant falling from Zhaozhao—proof of her true identity as the lucky star. Instead of remorse, he stole it. The Taoist master, fooled by the jade, declared Yaozu the blessed one. The Shen family held a grand banquet, dreaming of becoming the greatest house in the land. They drove Zhaozhao out. She walked away with her household registration papers. Her three powerful adoptive brothers came to stand by her side. Blind with greed, the Shens made one foolish move after another. Their fortune crumbled. The father hanged himself before the ancestral shrine. Shen Yaozu went to prison for fraud. The grandmother ended up scavenging trash. One day, she watched Zhaozhao living in glory with the thriving Li family. The old woman wept with endless regret—but it was too late.
