Nerine has suffered years de abuse from his uncle, aunt, and cousin. On his eighteenth birthday, when he should claim his father's trust fund, they try to imprison him. Severin, the mysterious senior he has recently begun dating, rescues him. Severin is gentle, but he hides that he is a 1,400-year-old vampire.
