If We Could Turn Back Time

Acerca de este microdrama

Shen Zhiqiu sacrificed twenty years de her youth for her family. She humbled herself to secure a job opportunity for her husband Zhuang Yan, lifting him from a penniless nobody to a successful businessman, while raising their son Zhuang Xiaoxiao all alone. Yet on their 20th wedding anniversary, Zhuang Yan showed up with white chrysanthemums—flowers that trigger severe fatal asthma allergies for Shen Zhiqiu. He blamed her entirely for Jiang Chaochao’s death. Even their son Zhuang Xiaoxiao looked at his mother with nothing but hatred. The two stood by and watched Shen Zhiqiu suffocate to death. Burdened with endless hatred and unwillingness, Shen Zhiqiu is reborn ten years into the past, right outside the Civil Affairs Bureau where Zhuang Yan once pressured her into a divorce for Jiang Chaochao. To her shock, Zhuang Yan has also traveled back in time. He believes he is finally free of Shen Zhiqiu’s restraint, ready to live happily ever after with Jiang Chaochao and achieve both career success and love. This time, Shen Zhiqiu refuses to beg or threaten suicide. She signs the divorce papers without hesitation, severing their toxic marriage for good. After the split, Shen Zhiqiu revives her long-abandoned dream of becoming a fashion designer. She also offers financial support to Zhuang Jing, who was disowned by the Zhuang family for refusing to marry a thrice-divorced elderly man. Shen Zhiqiu designs competition gowns for Zhuang Jing and encourages her to chase her dream of hosting.
