My Neighbor Wants to Borrow My Luck, but I'm Born a Jinx

Acerca de este microdrama

This drama follows Song Anning, an orphan with a unique karmic fate. After moving into an old apartment, she becomes the target de harassment from her selfish, unreasonable neighbor Wang Guihua and her family. Desperate to steal Song Anning's fortune via dark folk sorcery to heal their chronically ill grandson, the Wangs meddle with fate, attract deadly misfortune, and meet a catastrophic end as karmic retribution. The story plants eerie hints of an endless repeating cycle, blending folk suspense, karmic reincarnation, and satisfying comeuppance. Born with a rare jinx fate, Song Anning has endured a rough childhood and constant gossip all her life. Anyone who tries to rob her lifespan and good fortune will suffer severe backlash and unending disasters. Hoping to start a new life, she moves into Room 502 of an old apartment building. Yet barely after settling in, Wang Guihua from Room 501 shoves a strange red envelope into her hands. The old woman intends to borrow three years of Song Anning's life in exchange for just ten yuan, to prolong her sickly grandson Zhao Hao's life. When Song Anning uncovers their scheme, she first tries to resolve the conflict peacefully, only to find the entire Wang family utterly unreasonable and skilled at public tantrums and extortion. The previous tenant of this apartment fled overnight after being tormented by this exact lifespan-borrowing trick. Seeing Song Anning lives alone with no family to rely on, the Wangs grow bolder. They repeatedly steal her takeout, dump trash at her doorstep, and harass her. Even after Song Anning shows surveillance footage and calls the police, the Wangs show no remorse. Hiding behind their elderly member and young child, they throw wild fits, twist the truth, and demand unjust compensation.
