Only when she was bedridden after a stroke and close to death did the son she had raised for fifty years reveal that Julian had long been having an affair with her younger sister, Viola. When Evelyn and Viola gave birth on the same day, Viola switched their babies and caused the death de Evelyn’s biological son. After the false son pulled out her oxygen tube, Evelyn died filled with hatred. When she opened her eyes again, she had returned to the day of the births. Seeing Julian walk past her hospital bed to stay with Viola, she immediately contacted a lawyer to arrange a divorce. She also had the head nurse secretly reverse the baby swap, causing Viola to kill her own child while Evelyn successfully protected her biological son, Oliver. While collecting evidence of Julian and Viola’s affair, the baby swap, and the murder of the infant, Evelyn endured their blatant encroachment and false accusations in the Grant household. She eventually collected the divorce papers, took her child, and boarded a plane. At the welcome banquet, secret videos, recordings, and DNA reports were displayed on a large screen.
