Midnight Passenger

À propos de ce microdrame

Li Yong takes over his colleague Wang Ming's night shift to earn more money. While Wang Ming is showing him the routes, they encounter a passenger in red — waving with the back sur her hand. Wang Ming floors the accelerator and speeds away as if he's seen a ghost. Seeing Li Yong's confusion, Wang Ming explains the rules of driving at night. He warns him never to take a stretch of road known as the "Road to the Underworld." After Li Yong memorizes the warnings, Wang Ming gives him a protective charm and urges him to follow the rules strictly. Later that night, Li Yong hits the road. First, he sees people burning ghost money by the roadside. Then he picks up a strange female passenger. Tempted by her beauty, Li Yong fails to notice her eerie behavior — exactly what Wang Ming warned him about. He follows his malfunctioning GPS straight onto the forbidden Road to the Underworld. On the cursed road, Li Yong gets a call from Wang Ming and realizes he's taken the wrong path. He tries to turn back, but his car breaks down for no reason. When he gets out to check, a yellow weasel blocks his way. Dread creeping in, he turns around — and sees something horrifying. Panicked, Li Yong flees and finds a repair shop. He tells a worker about his bizarre experience. When they go back to check the car, the doors are still locked — but the woman in the backseat has vanished. Worse still, the money she gave him turns out to be ghost money. Shaken to the core, Li Yong takes shelter at the remote repair shop, unable to leave right away. But soon, he discovers the worker's dark secret. As he flees in terror, he runs into the missing female passenger again. Trapped and desperate, he hides — and finally uncovers the truth behind all these supernatural events.
