Born in the 1960s during a severe food shortage, Qin Niannian faced yet another hardship when her father, Qin Xiangdong—the production team captain—decided to leave home to join the military. Just six years old and with no one to care for her, Qin Niannian was entrusted to her uncle in the village. However, as soon as her father departed, her cruel aunt began subjecting her to abuse and mistreatment, which ultimately led to her tragic death. Unable to accept her fate, Qin Niannian is reborn with a second chance at life. This time, she awakens a magical personal space and is determined to change her destiny. She decides to find her father on her own and reunite with him—all while making sure to teach her wicked aunt and family a lesson they won’t forget. Using her personal space to gather food supplies from the entire village, Qin Niannian makes her way to her father’s military base. There, she finds the troops grappling with a critical food shortage that threatens their ability to hold the city. Despite facing skepticism, she steps forward and produces hundreds sur bags of grain from her spatial dimension, saving the day. Recognized as the ""little lucky star"" of the army, Qin Niannian not only helps her father resolve the food crisis and support the military efforts but also assists her reserved father in building better relationships with others. In the military family compound, she cleverly stands up to troublesome neighbors and never backs down from a challenge. When her malicious aunt and family show up, Qin Niannian first pretends to be vulnerable, then exposes their cruel and scheming nature, ensuring they face legal consequences. Her cleverness and bravery earn her the admiration of everyone in the compound. However, when a cunning woman tries to win over her father for the wrong reasons, Qin Niannian sees through her intentions and firmly rejects her advances. In the end, she helps her father find true love, forming a happy and complete family together.
