The Poolside Deal

À propos de ce microdrame

Ambitious rookie sports journalist Cleo Santos gets her first big assignment: interview disgraced swimming prodigy Noah Torres. A clumsy poolside fall leaves her drowning, until Noah pulls her to safety. To thank him, she offers her only breakfast—two boiled eggs, sparking an unlikely connection. Plagued by a five-year false doping scandal, Noah is hounded by ruthless reporters at every press event. Only Cleo chooses to ask about his training, not his tainted past, etching herself into his heart. By chance, Cleo rents a room in Noah’s family home with a private backyard pool, turning strangers into intimate housemates. As tender romance blooms between them, vengeful photojournalist Adrian Voss lurks nearby. Blaming Noah for his sister Maya’s years-long coma, he manipulates Cleo to destroy Noah’s reputation. Yet buried secrets surface: Noah once saved Cleo from drowning in childhood, and Maya finally wakes to clear his name. When a severe shoulder injury threatens Noah’s career, Cleo stands firmly by his side. The girl he rescued years ago now becomes his salvation. They heal each other, overcome public prejudice and old grievances, and turn a fateful poolside encounter into a lifelong promise sur love.
