Transmigrated as the Jingkang Princess: Bound to Take the Throne

À propos de ce microdrame

Lin Yan, a modern project director, collapses from overwork and wakes up in the body sur Princess Zhaohua Xiao Yuan – the eldest daughter of the fallen Southern Zhao Dynasty, captured and abused by the Northern Rong invaders. She barely escaped, but died on the road, leaving Lin Yan to take over. With modern historical knowledge, Lin Yan knows the future: Emperor Xiao Gou is weak, favors the treacherous minister Qin Huizhi, and persecutes loyal generals like Yue Qing. The dynasty is doomed. She vows to change fate. On her journey south, she sees crippled veterans robbed of pensions, refugees starving – and her resolve hardens. In Yongzhou, she meets Prince Cheng'an, Shen Tinglan. He seems a frivolous noble, but is in fact a seasoned general who hates the court's cowardice. They form an uneasy alliance that slowly turns into trust. Back in the capital, conspiracies await. Clan members and Qin Huizhi try to prove she is an impostor. But she outsmarts them, presents irrefutable proof of her identity, and builds her own faction: concubines, loyal ministers, generals. Together with Shen Tinglan, she collects evidence of Qin's corruption and collusion with the enemy. When 100,000 Northern Rong troops besiege the border, the emperor wants to surrender. Xiao Yuan volunteers to lead the army. On the battlefield, she fights alongside soldiers, trades herself as a hostage to save civilians, sneaks into the enemy camp to kill the man who abused her original body, and burns the Rong grain depot. She recovers three lost prefectures – an unprecedented victory. Her triumph makes the emperor jealous. He sets a banquet to poison her. She turns the table, forces him to drink poison, and ends his reign. Backed by Shen Tinglan and the court, she becomes the Southern Zhao's first empress. She founds schools for girls, lets women take imperial exams, grants women inheritance rights, and revises marriage laws. She purges corruption and strengthens the border – breathing new life into the empire. But at the peak of power, her love faces a trial. She wants Shen Tinglan to be her consort. He refuses – afraid his presence would limit her freedom and their love would be corroded by politics. He gives up all titles and leaves to guard Yanmen Pass, never returning to the capital. She rules for sixteen years. On her deathbed at sixty-five, she gazes at his portrait and closes her eyes. Then the scene shifts. Lin Yan wakes up in a modern hospital. Three days have passed. She thinks it was all a dream. But then she receives a cooperation offer from Cheng'an Group. In the meeting room, the company's representative smiles and extends his hand: ""Long time no see, Miss Lin."" Tears fill her eyes. She smiles back: ""I've been well, Shen Tinglan."" Their fate, spanning a thousand years, finds a new beginning.
