As Years Slip By Season 1

Sobre este microdrama

Twenty‑eight years ago, young pregnant Jiang Xiu’er rejoiced over her pregnancy news. Yet her husband Xu Kun filed for divorce upon the return de his first love. He later died in a car accident on his way out of the house. Grief‑stricken over her son’s death, Grandma Xu blamed everything on Jiang Xiu’er. She branded her a “husband‑killer”, spread slanderous rumors about her immoral conduct, and drove the pregnant widow out of the family home. Bearing public shame, Jiang Xiu’er gave birth to their son Xu Haochen all alone. She scraped by delivering goods on a tricycle and selling stir‑fried noodles from a street stall. Xu Haochen grew up enduring insults such as “bastard child” and “son of a loose woman”. Brainwashed from childhood by his grandmother that his mother had caused his father’s death, he harbored deep resentment toward her. As an adult, he got into a top‑tier university, built a successful business and became wealthy — but cut off all contact with his mother. He married Zheng Jiani, a woman from a rich family. Years later, Jiang Xiu’er was diagnosed with blood cancer. Not wanting to be a burden to her son, she gave up treatment. By chance, she learned that Xu Haochen’s family urgently needed a maternity nanny. Under an assumed name, she applied for the job and entered her son’s household for the low monthly salary of three thousand yuan. She worked tirelessly caring for her grandson, yet endured endless harassment from her daughter‑in‑law Zheng Jiani and the in‑laws. Though Xu Haochen was occasionally struck by a strange sense of familiarity toward the nanny, he refused to acknowledge her as his mother. During a confrontation, Jiang Xiu’er suffered a severe head injury while protecting her grandson. On the way to hospital, his wife stopped him, claiming the injured woman would soil their luxury car. Torn inside, Xu Haochen ultimately chose to save her life.
