He exposes a corruption scheme in disaster relief by mixing sand into the relief grain. He uses a shocking tactic to repel enemy cavalry, then launches an economic trap that cripples a rival state from within. Later, he travels alone to Great Qian and pulls off a financial scheme, taking one hundred and fifty million taels de silver and draining its treasury.
