His Thousand-Year Thunder Tribulation comes early, forcing him to descend from the mountain to overcome his "Sentimental Tribulation"—otherwise, all his 800 years of cultivation will be lost. To protect their ancestor, the descendants of the Mo clan carefully arrange for him to marry Su Qingyan, the most beautiful woman in Cloud City, who suffers from a long illness, hoping this bond will help him complete the tribulation. Along the way, chaos unfolds. A charlatan named Sun Xuangui steals his identity and is mistakenly taken home by the Mo family. The real ancestor meets Su Qingyan by chance. Seeing her tormented by an incurable ailment, he feeds her a secret elixir and cleanses her body with spiritual energy. Mo Jinghan easily drives away the onlookers, and after her recovery, Su Qingyan falls deeply in love with him. At the engagement banquet, the real and fake ancestors confront each other. Mo Jinghan casually draws the Blood King Sword, a blood clan treasure tainted with a thousand years of evil energy, and effortlessly erases its malice. Mo Yanyu, the realm’s top tycoon, kneels before him to acknowledge their bloodline, confirming Mo Jinghan’s true identity. But Du Haoran, Mo Jinghan’s grandson, covets Su Qingyan and the Mo family’s fortune. He steals the Heart-Devouring Grass left by the ancestor and secretly controls all the banquet guests to stage a rebellion.
